Hania and her family brought me to Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanow. That is a lovely palace and the collections are beautiful. The royal garden are open to public. We have a fine weather and it just awesome!
There was a Japanese Dance performance in the garden. Local Polish in beautiful Japanese kimono, cool!
An annex was built in the royal garden and it became poster museum now. I found an English book about posters in the period of Chinese Revolution in the museum shop. The author was an American lady. She was invited by the Beijing government to visit China during the Cultural Revolution. She said she like thousands of others, had studied in the country too. She loves the bright color and simple design of the posters during Cultural Revolution and collect a lot of them and even written a book when she got back to America.
That was an interesting book. I always think the Cultural Revolution posters are old-fashion and this book inspired me a new angle.
A book about China but published in America and I havn’t seen it neither in Hong Kong nor in China but I had it in Warsaw, Poland! What a coincidences!
