Palace of Queluz
The Royal Portuguese family lived in this palace in 1794 and leave here in 1807 and went to their colonial Brazil because the French invasions. This is a museum today.
This visit was included in the one day tour. We had 20+ people in the tour. I couldn’t hear the guide’s speech because there were too many tourists on site…
The palace had a beautiful interior design with paintings from ground to ceiling.
A lion statue with a female head impressed me most. The female head wore beautiful accessory and cloak on the lion. I wonder is it a praise or a disparage!?
The small town next to the palace sold lots of beautiful and cheap souvenir but I forgot to bring my wallet and I could buy nothing! OMG…
I was lucky that the tour included food and car. And my new friend who knew in the tour treat me a dinner and even paid for my ferry ticket back home. Yeah! I didn’t have to swim back home! I was very graceful to meet good people on the road：）
