Galway is a little town located in Ireland west. There is a river flowing across the little town. The water level was quite high when I arrived in Galway. Me, as a human being had no doubt that I would die if I fall down in the river as I was standing on a bridge and looking down the fast flowing water. But there are 2 white swans swimming with ease in the river, how awesome!
Galway weather could never be guessed. There was a sunny day on my first arrival day but a misty day in my last day in Galway. There are no hints on weather change, how unpredictable!
There are 2 little walking streets in Galway with second-hand-clothing shop, traditional Irish accessories shop and ice cream shop. And there is a big shopping mall too. Lots of wall paintings on the old buildings and they’re beautiful!
There are many 1-day local tour available for walk-in tourists in the Galway bus station. There are usually less than 10 guests in each tour. The tour price is not expensive with the cheapest tour is around 10+ EU. Lunch usually are not included. There would be some restaurant stops but the dinning time is super rush. Most Europeans are OK with that without any complaints.
It’s totally different with my experiences in Hong Kong. Food is utter important in every tour depart from Hong Kong (no matter what’s the destination). Local delicacy is a MUST, Chinese food (at least one meal in the whole trip) is a MUST, appetizer soup main course dessert fruit are MUST. Every meal would have at least an hour. It is so strange for me that the Europeans do not pay much attention on food…
