人類最終進化-天使之翼

Final Evolution of Humans-Angel’s Wings

I really love this drawing!

I am totally agree with Master Ingres, the back is the best~ The Valpinçon Bather, love it~!

Human cannot sit like this actually. The waist bends too much and the shoulders are too broad. It looks disproportion individually but harmonious when putting together. So I drew in that way. I draw for communicate but not for precise proportion.

The figure seems would be flying away at any second but also siting very quietly. A pair of wing-like fern planting growing out of the figure’s back in the precise balance between tense and relax and was drawn down when the figure swimming between reality and imaginary.

That is the most poetic description for this drawing that I can think of.

I drew this picture in Hong Kong. No wonder so many people misunderstand the fern as a back bone and I finally understand how coarse is my fern drawing when I visited New Zealand, the ‘kingdom of fern’ later. It would be a silent horror if the back bone really running out like that. But that would be beautiful too, there are always interesting misread between the author and the readers :)

This is a picture about ‘human & nature’ and ‘Gender’. The broaden shoulder=masculine, the slim waist & fat butt=feminine. This character is not a male nor female but a hermaphrodite. Human may become parthenogenesis like plants after the ‘final evolution’…
Human may be born alone and die alone in the future…
This is a way to see this picture. Welcome to leave your comment too! Thanks~
