Park Guell

Park Guell definitely is the most beautiful unfinished buildings on Earth.

Gaudi built Park Guell. Park Guell was a resistance area and nature was an important part. Gaudi built a big park (that is the famous rainbow-wave-like-long-bench). Part of the forest area in Park Guell is open to public today. Area with buildings (such as Gaudi’s home, The Gaudi House Museum) is charged.

Park Guell was built from 1900 to 1914. Every house just occupies 1 over 6 land pot. The rest is for garden.

Gaudi planned to build 60 houses but only 2 were built.

Park Guell was built on the hill top. The steep slope was one of the reasons why it didn’t finish. People didn’t want to climb the steep slope every day to go home. And the market respond was not good.

The built long benches and houses were super beautiful although Park Guell was never finished.

Um, if the Barcelonans made a collective funding and build the rest 58 houses, it would be great!
